  This blog is part of something bigger: a forthcoming website about emerging fashion designers—one that will sell their wares and tell their stories.
   
  We’re still in pre-launch mode and will let you know as soon as there’s more to share, but in the meantime, we’re looking for a talented, hard-working, and energetic intern or two with an interest in the fashion industry (up-and-coming designers in particular) and in being involved in all aspects of a startup.
  
  If you’re interested, please send a resume and links to your blog, twitter, or any other social media identity you feel comfortable showing off to info@ofakind.com. We promise a ton of experience and a small stipend.

  REQUIREMENTS
  - Writing and reporting experience
  - Amazing organization skills
  - Interest in fashion, particularly emerging designers
  - Excellent communication abilities
  - Flexible schedule
  - NYC location
  - Interest in startups
  - A laptop (sorry, we know)
  
  RESPONSIBILITIES
  - Writing stories
  - Brainstorming and researching for both the retail and editorial arms
  - Transcribing interviews
  - Identifying and recruiting designers
  - Scheduling meetings
  - Assisting with photo shoots
  - Helping with order fulfillment and shipping
  - Doing general admin and errand-running (sorry, we know)

  Tell me about your hair.

  It just naturally does this. I always want to chop it off, but I just can’t.

  Isn’t your head really hot in this weather?

  I have a great trick: peppermint oil. If you put it on your scalp, it’s so cooling and it lasts all day. When a slight wind comes through your hair … yes! I highly recommend it.
