can you buy the images of performance art?
I think the quick answer to this is: if the performance artist is entrepreneurial, then yeah, you can buy the images. I used to work for Robert Wilson, who, while not a performance artist (or at least not chiefly, that is) sold a variety of works derived from his performance-based projects. Even the most successful of performance artists are going to have trouble making a living wage off of their performances alone, so it seems to me like it’s a fairly sensible business practice.

This is a photograph of a performance piece done at OPEN / INVITED e v + a(in a town called Limerick! I love that name), and I have an open ended question so if you know the answer, hit me up:
I am not too familiar with performance art, but can you buy images of the performance? Is that a common practice that performance artists do or is it more like, the art was in the moment and can never be again?
The reason I ask is because I would love a photograph of this Celtic Tiger drinking a Guiness. I love him so much.
