D’AG BAG DESIGN CONTEST
When I was at school in Chicago, the kids from New York would carry around their canvas D’ag Bags as a sort of status symbol—a way of indicating that they were mere transplants in the Second City who had retained the cache of the ultimate Metropole. At least this is how I interpreted it…how else to explain otherwise fashionable girls toting around dowdy canvas grocery bags? I guess D’agostino figured it out too because they’re trying to spruce up the look of the totes…the NYC supermarket chain is accepting proposals for the design of their next ‘green’ shopping bag.
